Doris Jaqueline Woodley of Kent died Feb. 26 in Renton. She was 71.

She was born Jan. 6, 1934 in New Orleans, LA, and graduated from Highline High School in 1954. She was a 25-year member of New Heights Baptist Church and an eight-year resident of Kent.

Survivors include daughters Karen McNeilly, Robin Moore and Kim Heiman; a brother, Ron Hooks of Georgia; a sister, Jeanette Sands of Auburn; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John Woodley, in December 1986.

A service will be at 10 a.m. March 5 at Yahn and Son in Auburn, followed by burial at Mountain View Cemetery in Auburn. The family requests memorials be sent to New Heights Baptist Church, 22705 24th Ave. S., Des Moines, WA 98198 or American Diabetes Association, 557 Roy St., Seattle, WA 98109.
