Diane C. Nagy, a 40-year Federal Way resident, died April 1. She was 66.
An avid “Red Hatter”, she was known as “The Queen Mum” and founder of the Red Hat Rowdies of Palm Creek in Casa Grande, Ariz.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, William J. “Bill” Nagy of Federal Way; daughter, Teresa “Teri” Powell; sons, William, Steven and James Nagy; sister, Sharon Norris; and nine grandchildren and one great-grandson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Diane’s name can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in honor of her mother.
A graveside celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 9 at Washington Memorial Park, 16445 International Blvd., SeaTac. A reception will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the Kloshee Illahee Clubhouse, 2500 S. 370th St. in Federal Way.
