Danny J. Henry, a longtime Federal Way resident, died Nov. 19.

He was 58.

He was born May 8, 1945, to Claude and Lola Henry, and grew up in the Sandpoint, Idaho area. After serving in the Navy on the U.S.S. John Willis, he moved to Seattle.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Katheryn; a daughter Christina; a son Russell Henry; two brothers and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.

At his request, there were no services. Interment was at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.

The family suggests memorials be made to any organization that benefits veterans or enlisted military and their families.
