Rusty was born in Austin Texas on March 30, 1977, to Daniel Eugene Richardson and Carol Marie Richardson (Jahns). In 1979, Rusty, his parents, and his new baby brother, moved to Federal Way. He grew up attending St Luke’s Lutheran Church, graduated from Federal Way High School in 1995, and went on to play soccer at Highline College from 1996-1997.
Rusty left his career as a loan officer and other positions in the Mortgage industry to be a stay-at-home father, and was days away from beginning a new career at Amazon. He maintained a lifelong love of soccer, baseball, football and basketball. Rusty was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend; and a dedicated, proud, and loving father. Rusty’s girls were his world. Rusty will be deeply missed by his many friends and family, and everyone whose life he touched.
