Caroline Grace Liddell (Mancuso) went home to be with the Lord on May 17th, 2021. She was born to O. George and Jenny Mancuso in Fredonia, NY. Caroline married Charles J. Vacanti and they had two sons. After his untimely death, she often worked three jobs to provide for her family. In 1978, Caroline moved to Washington state, and married David Liddell in 1980. They became lifetime members of St. Theresa’s Parish in Federal Way. David predeceased her in 2016.

Caroline was involved in several gardening clubs, and was the second director for the Chinook District Garden Club, and President of the Marine Hills Garden Club for several years, where she was on the board for the Federal Way Symphony Garden Tour, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Caroline won many awards for her outstanding floral arrangements for the Chinook District Garden Club, part of the Washington State Federation of Garden Clubs.

Caroline was an employee of True Temper Corporation in Dunkirk, NY, and sold real estate, but was most proud of her years as an administrative assistant for the Boeing Commercial Airplane Company.

Caroline is survived by her sons David (Shirley) Vacanti of Anacortes, WA, Daniel (Becky) Vacanti of Federal Way, brother Dr. Charles Mancuso of Bedford, NH, sisters Gina Palermo and Lucille Mancuso of Fredonia, NY, and Marie (Bill) Sweeney of Puyallup, grandchildren Mat- thew (Jennifer) Vacanti, Stephen Vacanti, Sarah (Luke) Golesh, Nicholas (Chelsea) Vacanti, Ashley Vacanti, and great grandchildren Merrick and August. Funeral mass was held at St. Theresa’s Parish with internment at Geth- semane Cemetery. Arrangements by Bonney Watson.
