Carol Lynn Minor Weymiller died Aug. 28, 2006, of cardiac arrest.
She was born Oct. 19, 1937, in Sacramento, Calif. She spent her childhood in San Diego and attended San Diego State, where she was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority.
Carol and her family moved to Federal Way in 1970 and spent 25 years involved in many aspects of the community, from PTAs, junior football associations, sister city associations, women’s clubs and more.
She lived her last 10 years at Sunrise Beach in Gig Harbor.
Carol was an avid baseball fan who attended games for players of all ages and levels, including the Seattle Mariners, and always had a scorebook and pencil in hand.
She is survived by her husband and best friend Al Weymiller of 48 years; her sister Margaret Eckert (Roger); her four sons Allen, Peter (Kathy), Paul (Andrea), Toby (Miako); her six grandchildren Alex, Ben, Theodore, Hannah, Ellie, and Mary Grace; and her beloved dogs Kiki and Mel.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, Carol would have liked donations to be made to a charity of your choice.
