Dr. Bruce Wallace, 44 year resident of Federal Way, WA passed away on June 19, 2018 after a long illness. Born in Buffalo, NY he moved to the SeaTac area when he was 12 and was in the first graduating class of Tyee High School.
He received a BA in business from Seattle Pacific University and his doctorate in Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in 1974. He spent over 40 years helping people improve their vision, first, at Sears Optical and then as the Dr. and owner of Vision Express in Federal Way. He touched many lives helping people young and old to see better.
He is survived by Debbie Wallace, his wife of 45 years,
son James Wallace of Cle Elum, daughter Mary Wallace of Seattle, son John Wallace of Federal Way, and 2 grandchildren Colin and Kate Wallace of Cle Elum. Bruce also leaves behind
2 sisters, Linda Simunds of Kent and Laura Rankin of Renton and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be at Journey Church, 701 S. 320th St. in Federal Way, Saturday July 14th at 11:00am.
