Toni Johnson passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 25, 2017 from Alzheimer’s Disease. She was the only child of Anthony and Lillian Herauf.
Toni was born and raised in the Seattle area spending most of her life in Federal Way. She married Patrick McGillivary in 1965 and had two daughters, Shelly and Stacey. Her girls were her pride and joy and she would say they were her biggest accomplishments.
In 1981, she and Dennis Johnson married and blended their family and she became a step mom to Tracey Hyatt and Chris Johnson. Toni and Dennis were happily married for 36 years.
Toni was a successful and admired realtor, working for John L. Scott Real Estate for 26 years. She was a loyal friend, had a fantastic sense of humor and was a strong and respected role model for her children.
The highlight of her life was being a grandmother to her eight grandchildren; Jordyn Hyatt, Amanda Johnson, Lauren Larson, J.R. Hyatt, Danielle Larson, Hannah Ostlund, Emily Johnson and Abby Ostlund.
She was preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Lillian Herauf, and her aunt Mae Mullholland.
She is survived by her husband Dennis, her daughters Shelly Larson (Tom), Stacey Ostlund (Gerald), Chris Johnson (Valarie) and Tracey Hyatt, eight grandchildren and her precious puppy Lacey.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 1 at St. Vincent de Paul Parish, 30525 8th Ave S, Federal Way, WA 98003 at 11am. A reception with the family to follow.
