Andrew J. Fink of Federal Way died Oct. 10. He was 83.
He was born Oct. 4, 1919 in Great Falls, Mont. He moved to Michigan as a young child and graduated from Michigan State University.
He served in the Army during World War II.
After the war, he lived in Ephrata, where he taught high school science and math from the late 1940s to 1956.
Starting in 1956, he worked for Boeing as an engineer until retiring.
He was a longtime member of Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Federal Way.
Survivors include his son, David Fink of Federal Way; daughters Kathryn Crandell of Seattle and Susan LaMunyon of Ephrata; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Oct. 16 at Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. Private inurnment will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Auburn. Price-Helton Funeral Home of Auburn is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Northwest Harvest.
