Woman takes argument to the streets | Federal Way crime blotter

Following is a sample from the Federal Way police log:

• Vandalism: At 10:26 a.m. Feb. 28 in the 30800 block of 8th Avenue South, a complainant reported several street signs and a mailbox that were knocked down near South 312th Street.

• Stolen beer: At 12:02 a.m. Feb. 28 at 33101 Pacific Highway South, a male stole an 18-pack of beer, then fled from the store.

• Domestic violence: At 2:05 a.m. Feb. 28 in the 1900 block of Southwest Campus Drive, police responded and arrested a man involved in a domestic violence dispute. The man pinned his girlfriend and placed his fists on her head and throat.

• Dog attack: At 10:55 a.m. Feb. 28 in the 3100 block of South 337th Street, a victim reported she was attacked by a mixed-breed dog. She suffered injuries to her hand and leg. King County Animal Care and Control declined to respond to the incident.

• Woman in the street: At 12:05 a.m. Feb. 27 in the 32900 block of 21st Avenue Southwest, a passerby reported a female lying in the street. When police responded they found the woman with her husband standing nearby. The couple told police they were in a verbal argument and the woman threw herself to the ground.

• Strong arm robbery: At 11:50 a.m. Feb. 27 at 34400 21st Ave. S.W., a victim flagged down police and reported a robbery. One known suspect and two unknown suspects pointed a gun at the victim during the incident.

• Fight: At 3:32 p.m. Feb. 28 at The Commons mall, police responded to a fight. The combatants were retained. One was in possession of brass knuckles.

• Stolen gun: At 5:54 p.m. Feb. 28 in the 2600 block of South 312th Street, an unknown suspect stole several items, including a gun, from a residence while the occupant was gone.

• Graffiti arrests: At 6:47 p.m. Feb. 28 at 2410 S. 312th Street, two suspects were arrested after an investigation revealed they committed several acts of graffiti.

• Vehicle assault: At 7:29 p.m. Feb. 28 in the 28800 block of Pacific Highway South, police responded to a report of a vehicle assault. The driver was attempting to run over a victim. The victim was found in possession of stolen property and arrested. The suspect was cited and released.
