One woman is in custody after stabbing a man on a King County Metro bus Saturday evening in Federal Way.
Around 7:35 p.m., the King County Metro Transit police received a report of a stabbing on an A line coach at South 288th Street and Pacific Highway South in Federal Way, according to Sgt. Ryan Abbott with the King County Sheriff’s Office.
Federal Way police soon arrived on scene and arrested the woman without incident.
The man sustained minor stab wounds, which are believed to have been caused by a knife, Abbott noted. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The suspect and the victim did not know each other, Abbott added.
Police discovered the suspect also has a felony warrant for second-degree assault. The suspect has been booked into King County Jail for investigation of felony assault and the outstanding warrant.
