Woman raped on Federal Way’s BPA Trail | Crime blotter

The following is a sample from the Federal Way police public information log:

• At 6:47 p.m. Oct. 15 on SW Campus Drive, a victim reported to have been raped while on the BPA Trail. The victim was transported to St. Francis Hospital.

• At 8:07 p.m. Oct. 12 at 31620 3rd Place S.W., a victim walked outside to throw away trash. She felt someone grab her buttocks from behind and turned to see two Hispanic males. She heard them talking but could not understand what they said. The victim ran back inside.

• At 10:44 p.m. Oct. 12 in the 1900 block of Southwest Campus Drive, a male contacted police to report his girlfriend overdosed on Oxycontin. The victim was transported to St. Francis Hospital, where police told staff to contact them upon her release so that she could be booked for a no contact order violation.

• At 2:52 a.m. Oct. 12 at 1838 S. 330th St., police responded to a call about a person making threats. A victim was found bleeding heavily from his face. When officers attempted to question the victim about what happened, he began spitting blood at them. The victim appeared to be intoxicated and disoriented.

• At 1:52 p.m. Oct. 12 at 2410 S. 312th St., two juveniles got into a fight when a 13-year-old male thought another boy called him a “fag.” The victim said he only told the suspect he did not like him.

• At 7:14 p.m. Oct. 12 in the 2700 block of Southwest 331st Street, a residential burglary took place. A gun was taken.

• At 12:46 a.m. Oct 13 at 27910 Pacific Highway S., police responded to a physical altercation between neighbors. One was arrested for obstruction and resisting arrest.

• At 1:06 p.m. Oct. 13 at 2201 S. Commons, two suspects reportedly shoplifted items totaling $274.90. Both suspects concealed the items and walked out of the store. Police questioned them and both were subsequently arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

• At 10:32 Oct. 14 at 34727 Pacific Highway, police received a report that a purchase was made with a counterfeit $20 bill, though it was unknown from when or whom. The counterfeit money was collected and kept for evidence.
