Wild Waves traffic problems: At 11:25 p.m. Oct. 12 in the 36000 block of Enchanted Parkway S, police responded to reports of a vehicle accident. According to the report, a disagreement had arose between two drivers.

Wild Waves traffic problems: At 11:25 p.m. Oct. 12 in the 36000 block of Enchanted Parkway S, police responded to reports of a vehicle accident. According to the report, a disagreement had arose between two drivers. The first party had been stuck trying to enter into the stream of traffic for a considerable amount of time, according to the witnesses’ description. One member of the first vehicle got out of the vehicle at one point, and stood in front of other cars so their vehicle could finally get out. A person in another vehicle, observing this, became upset and then exited their vehicle and stood in front of the first vehicle.

Work vehicle stolen: At 10:51 a.m. Oct. 13 in the 34000 block of 13th Ave SW, a man reported his work van was stolen by unknown suspects. The victim reported he had seen the vehicle at approximately 2:00 a.m. that morning before going to bed.

Rims stolen: At 12:20 p.m. Oct. 13 in the 33000 block of Pacific Highway S, it was reported that unknown suspects had broken into a secure area at a tire dealer and stole eight sets of aluminum rims.

Woman removed from library: At 2:20 p.m. Oct. 13 in the 34000 block of 1st Ave S, a woman, who had been previously trespassed from the library, was discovered in the library. The woman was arrested and escorted off library property without incident, according to the report.

Small dog killed by two other dogs: At 2:37 p.m. Oct. 13 in the 31000 block of 3rd Pl S, a small dog was killed by two larger neighbor dogs. According to the report, the small dog had made it’s way into the larger dogs’ yard, at which point they attacked and killed the smaller dog.

Burglar discovered in closet: At 7:02 p.m. Oct. 13 in the 950 block of SW Campus Dr, residents of an apartment came home to a burglary-in-progress. According to the report, police discovered the would-be burglar hiding in a closet in the apartment. The report notes the burglar had attempted to steal an Xbox gaming console by placing it in a backpack they were carrying with them.

Woman arrested at bar: At 12:13 a.m. Oct. 12 in the 27000 block of Pacific Highway S, police responded to reports of a woman allegedly assaulting two other patrons at a bar. According to the report, the woman was arrested because she had previously been trespassed from the bar, and the bar still had the paperwork on file and available to show police.

Copper wire theft: At 8:59 a.m. Oct. 12 in the 28000 block of Pacific Highway S, it was reported that unknown suspects had stolen copper wire from a number of “heat pumps” at a Buddhist facility. The report notes the suspects broke into the basement of the facility and rummaged around, but found nothing worth stealing. Latent prints were discovered on scene throughout the facility and on a pair of wire cutters left behind by the suspect(s), according to the report.

Woman finds box of ammo in garage: At 12:10 p.m. Oct. 12 in the 30000 block of 9th Ave S, a woman was cleaning out her garage when she discovered a box of ammunition. According to the report, the woman had no recollection of ever having purchased the ammunition. The woman gave the box over to police for disposal, the report notes.

Friend helps out suicidal friend: At 8:52 a.m. Oct. 11 in the 35000 block of 25th Ave SW, the reporting party indicated their friend had been texting and calling them, saying they wanted to commit suicide. The reporting party contacted police, who found the friend at his home. According to the report, the police talked with the friend and were able to take him to St. Francis for a mental health evaluation.
