The Weyerhaeuser Community Day of Caring event was held Sept. 21.

A team of energetic Weyerhaeuser employees gathered at the FUSION duplex in NE Tacoma to spend the day taping, scraping, and preparing the transitional housing units for exterior painting.

They worked very hard to prepare the duplex and without their volunteer support. It would have taken much longer to get the job done. The house was painted last weekend by FUSION volunteers and looks great.

Friends United to Shelter the Indigent, Oppressed and Needy (FUSION) is most grateful for Weyerhaeuser’s generous support over the past 19 years. Their loyal partnership has greatly impacted our ability to serve the most needy in our communities.
