The annual Federal Way Kiwanis Salmon Bake was held July 24 at Steel Lake Park in Federal Way.
The event sold more than 700 meal tickets and raised at least $10,000, said Kiwanis president Ed Plumlee. Proceeds from this event help to support community programs and student projects including Terrific Kids, Builders Club, Key Club and student scholarships. The club also supports the Multi-Service Center, Federal Way Senior Center, FUSION, Community Supper and the PTSA clothing bank.
