Council and judicial primary candidates

Primary election candidates for Federal Way Municipal Court judge and Federal Way City Council are invited to participate in a public forum. The forum, sponsored by the Federal Way Chamber of Commerce and Federal Way Mirror, is slated for 5:30 to 8 p.m. July 22 (note the new date) at Federal Way High School’s little theater, located at Pacific Highway South and South 308th Street. Judicial candidates invited to participate in the forum: James A. Santucci, Mark S. Knapp, Rebecca C. Robertson, Williams Jarvis, Michael Morgan and Matthew York. Candidates for city council position 6 invited to participate: Troy J. Smith, Roger Freeman, David St. John, Lorie Wood and Diana Noble-Gulliford.

King County Executive

The Federal Way Chamber of Commerce and the Federal Way Mirror are co-sponsoring a forum for the King County Executive race. The forum will run 7:30 to 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, at the Courtyard by Marriott, 31910 Gateway Center Blvd. S. (just off I-5 at the South 320th Street exit). Candidates are Larry Phillips, Fred Jarrett, Stan Lippmann, Alan Lobdell, Susan Hutchison, Dow Constantine, Ross Hunter and Goodspaceguy.
