Veterans Memorial dedication ceremony

The City of Federal Way is hosting a Veterans Memorial dedication event at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11.

The memorial is located at the top of the Town Center Steps in front of the Performing Arts and Event Center (31510 Pete von Reichbauer Way S.).

South King Fire and Rescue to honor 20th anniversary of September 11

South King Fire and Rescue is honoring the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attacks with a ceremony at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11.

The event features guest speakers Rick Arnon, a veteran and paramedic supervisor for King County Medic One, and J.R. Klein, a veteran and senior paramedic for King County Medic One.

Masks are required for all attendees. The ceremony will be held at Station 64 (3700 S. 320th Street) in Federal Way.
