The Twin Lakes PTA Walk-A-Thon is from 1-3 p.m. at the Decatur track Sunday, April 23. I

After two years without in-person events, this community walk-a-thon aims to raise money for teachers’ classroom needs, said organizer Jessica Asriyan.

The event includes a DJ, food, face painting, an art auction, a plants sale and games. Families of all ages are invited to interact with their neighbors, classmates and community.

Funds raised will help pay for the fifth grade graduation ceremony, classroom rewards, teacher requests, water fountains, gym equipment and recess equipment.

The Decatur track is at 2800 SW 320th Street in Federal Way.
