The Federal Way Public Schools District Web site reports that a fire at Todd Beamer High School has forced the evacuation of the school.

The fire in the boys bathroom was announced at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9.

Parents are expected to be notified by the district’s call out system. Updates will be posted to the district’s Web site at www.fwps.org.

In addition, the district is reporting a district-wide phone outage this morning for both incoming and outgoing phone calls. The district says Qwest is currently working to solve the issue.
