Suspects arrested after stabbing, carjacking victim | Federal Way Police Blotter

Following is a sample from the Federal Way police log Feb. 15-21.

Feb. 15

Air fryer stolen: At about 12:43 p.m. near the 400 block of SW 346th Place, a person reported that an unknown suspect broke into their backyard and stole their air fryer. No suspects were identified.

Student sick: At about 12:50 p.m. near the 36000 block of 1st Avenue South, a middle school student took Tylenol on an empty stomach and had a reaction to the medicine. The student was checked by South King Fire and Rescue and the parents were notified.

Gas station robbed: At about 9:47 p.m. near the 2100 block of SW 356th Street, a suspect robbed a gas station of approximately $1,300 in cash.

On Feb. 15, there were at least 6 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft.

Feb. 16

Stabbing at apartment complex: At about midnight near the 35700 black of 16th Avenue South, officers responded to a report of a fight between two people at an apartment complex. Upon arrival, officers found a suspect with a significant amount of blood on him. Officers then found out that the victim was inside a nearby unit and had serious injuries from stab wounds. The suspect was taken into custody and transported by medics for treatment. The victim was also transported for treatment.

Business gone bad: At about 3:36 p.m. near the 2500 block of South 317th Street, a person reported that they invested money into a business and lost over $55,000.

Woman arrested after road rage: At about 4:30 p.m. near the 31400 block of Pacific Highway South, officers responded to a road rage incident between two people. Investigation showed that a female driver followed a man into a parking lot, where she displayed a handgun during the confrontation. She was arrested and booked into jail.

On Feb. 16, there were at least 3 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft.

Feb. 17

Person stabbed, carjacked: At about 1:30 p.m. near the 35700 block of 16th Avenue South, a victim was held down by a male suspect as a female suspect stabbed the victim multiple times. The victim was able to flee, however, the two suspects stole the victim’s vehicle. The victim had multiple stab wounds and was taken to the hospital. The victim was able to track his phone to Milton where police apprehended the two suspects from the vehicle. The suspects were arrested and booked into jail.

On Feb. 17, there were at least 5 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft.

Feb. 18

Suspects follow man home: At about 1:35 a.m. near the 100 block of Mirror Lake Park, a man was driving home when he was boxed in by two cars, one in front of him and one behind. Three suspects exited the vehicles and aimed pistols at the man. The man drove home and told his girlfriend to call 911. The two suspect vehicles followed the man home. The man exited his house and fired a gun at the vehicles, which then fled.

On Feb. 18, there were at least 6 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft.

Feb. 19

Woman carjacked: At about 8:10 a.m. near the 34000 block of 9th Avenue South, officers spoke with a victim who said a suspect approached her vehicle, pointed a firearm at her and ordered her to get out of the vehicle. The victim left the scene and was not harmed.

On Feb. 19, there were at least 6 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft.

Feb. 21

Fuel thief stopped: At about midnight near the 33200 block of 21st Avenue SW, a school security guard interrupted an attempted fuel theft in progress at a Federal Way Public Schools building. Surveillance footage captured the suspect vehicle.

Woman robbed in locker room: At about 8:30 p.m. near the 35000 block of Enchanted Parkway South, a strong-armed robbery took place inside the women’s locker rooms at the LA Fitness. The suspect later used the victim’s stolen credit cards at various locations nearby the gym.

On Feb. 21, there were at least 8 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft.
