Federal Way police are searching for a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a Subway restaurant.

At 8:48 a.m. April 4, the suspect pictured above entered the Subway at 29017 Military Road South in Federal Way. The suspect retrieved a paper towel from the restroom to obstruct his face. According to police, the suspect displayed a firearm in his waistband and demanded money from the female employee.

The employee surrendered cash and gave it to the suspect, who fled south on foot from the business, according to police.

The suspect has been described as a black male between ages 20 and 30, standing about 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a thin to medium build, with a round face and bald head. The suspect was wearing a black jacket, black shirt, white undershirt and black sweatpants, according to police.
