The Decatur Football Booster Club held their second annual Balls of Fire Golf Ball Drop to raise funds for the Gators football team on Saturday at Decatur High School.

The Decatur Football Booster Club held their second annual Balls of Fire Golf Ball Drop to raise funds for the Gators football team on Saturday at Decatur High School.

During the event, South King Fire and Rescue Ladder 62 dropped over 800 golf balls on to the practice field.

Balls that landed closest to markers were the prize winners. Prizes included $1,500 in cash from Big Foot Java and a football autographed by Superbowl Most Valuable Player Malcolm Smith.
