Brickyard Pub burglarized: At about 3:45 a.m. near the 28800 block of Military Road South, officers responded to a commercial alarm at the Brickyard Pub. Upon arrival, police found the business had been burglarized.
June 21
There were at least 5 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day.
Squirt gun confiscated: At about 8 a.m. near the 2800 block of SW 320th Street, officers responded to a high school after a student became angry after his squirt gun was confiscated. The student punched a wall and threatened to assault the security guard who confiscated the squirt gun. The school is handling discipline.
Firearm assault: At about 9:38 a.m. near the 35800 block of 57th Avenue South, officers responded to reports of an assault with a firearm.
June 22
There were at least 2 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day.
Stolen purse: At about 2:51 a.m. near the 2700 block of SW 310th Street, officers responded to a strong-armed robbery. Officers spoke with the victim who said she was walking to her home after parking her vehicle on the roadway. Two unknown suspects approached her and demanded she hand over her purse. A struggle ensued and the woman was pushed to the ground. The suspects fled before police arrived.
Tent fire: At about 8:20 a.m. near the 33600 block of Pacific Highway South, victims awoke as their tent was being engulfed by flames. They quickly escaped and sustained minor injuries. South King Fire crews responded to extinguish the flames and treated injuries. An arson investigator also responded to the scene.
June 23

Upset customer: At about 8:50 a.m. near the 1400 block of South 348th Street, a customer got upset about his Uber Eats order and called the store to complain. The customer allegedly threatened to come to the store and assault the employee on the phone. The customer was contacted by police.
Stolen wallet: At about 8:45 p.m. near the 34500 block of 16th Avenue South, a person left his wallet at the self-checkout at the Super Walmart. Almost immediately, fraudulent charges began appearing on his credit card, spent at the Walmart where he left his wallet. The charges totally $404 and another for $206.
June 24

Drinking and driving: At about 4:37 a.m. near the 29 block of South 342nd Place, officers responded to a report of a vehicle crashing into a tree. When police arrived, the driver of the vehicle was still on scene. The driver allegedly admitted to police that he was under 21 and had been drinking before driving. He was arrested on the scene.
June 25
There was at least one report of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day.
Car broken into: At about 9 a.m. near the 31900 block of Gateway Center Boulevard, it was discovered that sometime overnight the front passenger window of the person’s vehicle had been broken. A motorcycle jacket and a backpack full of personal belongings and electronics were stolen.
Stolen merchandise: At about 11:50 a.m. near the 1300 block of South 324th Street, an unknown person stole approximately $4,400 of merchandise from the store and fled in a black Chevy Tahoe.
Purse snatched: At about 7:24 p.m. near the 34500 block of 16th Avenue South, police responded to an incident where a woman said that a suspect snatched her purse as she was standing next to her car.
June 26
There were at least 4 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day.
Stolen alcohol: At about 10 p.m. near the 33500 block of 21st Ave SW, an employee was asked to open the alcohol cabinet by a presumed customer. When the employee placed the key in the lock, the suspect pushed over the employee, opened the cabinet and stole a box of alcohol bottles. The employee was not injured.
Garden grenade: At about 4 p.m. near the 27900 block of Pacific Highway South, officers responded to an apartment complex after a resident reported finding a live grenade in the garden area. After attempting to turn it into the office, management told the resident to place the grenade back where he retrieved it. A Bomb Disposal Unit responded and determined the device to be a commercial smoke grenade. The grenade was rendered safe and secured for disposal.
June 27
There were at least 6 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day.
Gas station robbery: At about 2100 block of SW 356th Street, an unknown man entered a gas station with a pistol and demanded the store clerk give him all of the money inside the register. The suspect stole approximately $300 and fled in a stolen car.
