Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA)’s mobile Mammovan provides life-saving breast cancer screenings to women in the local Seattle area, breaking down barriers of access and bringing their services to women in need.
The Mammogram Van is in Federal Way April 6, 11 and 22.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, having regularly scheduled mammograms can lower the risk of dying from breast cancer. Earlier diagnoses mean more treatment options and better outcomes.
SCCA’s medical experts want to use this opportunity to educate women about breast cancer, breast cancer risk, and current screening recommendations. Most importantly SCCA experts want to highlight how women can have easier access to life-saving screenings with their mobile Mammovan program.
Patients must book appointments in advance by calling 206-606-7800. The Mammovan is located at The Commons mall, 1928 S. Commons.
