Rescued dog available for adoption in Federal Way | Pet of the Week

Frisco is the sweetest German Shepherd you could ever imagine.

Frisco is the sweetest German Shepherd you could ever imagine. He was turned into a high kill shelter as a starving stray. Frisco has had a couple of seizures right after being rescued from the shelter, yet it’s been completely controlled since November by taking two pills per day and he has not had a seizure since.

His vet diagnosed him with a mild case of epilepsy. He might need to take these pills each day for the rest of his life.

Frisco is in great health and regaining his weight in his loving foster home.

He needs some very basic obedience training but is already on the right track and knows some commands already.  Frisco is about 3 to 4 years old and he is great with all people and all types of dogs. Frisco will do best in a home with people who don’t leave him alone for long periods of time since he is so attached to his humans.

Frisco hopes that the fact he takes anti-seizure pills each day will not deter people from considering him for a forever home. These meds are not expensive and Rescuing Animals in Need will cover the first years’ worth of prescriptions if needed.

Email Denise at rescuinganimals@gmail.com for more information about Frisco. He is neutered, up to date with vaccines and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300.
