Renton man with stab wound found in Federal Way

The man had been stabbed during an altercation earlier in the day and had received medical treatment for his injuries.

A man who had been stabbed in Renton was located in Federal Way on Wednesday night.

At about 10:15 p.m. June 2, Federal Way officers responded to the 2000 block of SW Campus Drive for a report of a man who had been stabbed, according to Cmdr. Kurt Schwan.

Upon arrival, police contacted a 30-year-old Renton resident who told officers he had been stabbed during an altercation in Renton earlier in the day, Schwan said.

The man told the officers he had already received medical treatment for his minor wounds. Officers discovered the Renton Police Department had probable cause to arrest the man for a domestic violence assault, which had occurred earlier that evening, Schwan said.
