Red Canoe Credit Union is sponsoring the “Fill the Canoe School Supply Drive” until Aug. 12.

Donations of supplies or funds can be made at: Red Canoe, the Federal Way Public Schools district office, St. Francis Hospital, the Chamber of Commerce, Sylvan Learning Center and Communities In Schools of Federal Way.

Red Canoe will match all donations of new supplies donated and will donate the resources equally among all schools in the Federal Way School District.

This drive is in response to the needs of the 13,350 — out of 22,500 — students in Federal Way Public Schools who are on Free or Reduced-Price Meals and need additional help to satisfy basic needs in the classroom.
