Reading with Rover: Borders Books at the Commons Mall will be having Reading with Rover the second Saturday of the month, from 11 a.m. to noon. This fun program lets kids read to a dog and has been at Valhalla Elementary School for a while. Info: www.readingwithrover.org

Preschool raffle: Federal Way Co-Op Preschool is hosting a super raffle. The free family event features a dinner and a performance by preschool students. Items will be raffled off at $1 a ticket. Raffle items include Mariners tickets, Museum of Flight admission, free swimming lessons and movie tickets. The event runs from 4:30 to 7 p.m. April 24 at Camelot Elementary, 4041 S. 298th St., Auburn. Federal Way Co-Op Preschool is hosting an open house from 5 to 7 p.m. April 26.
