Primary election ballots mailed to King County voters

Voting ballots were mailed on Wednesday to residents throughout King County.

Nearly 1.1 million ballots were mailed. King County is entirely vote-by-mail, there is no need for voters to re-register or request mail-in ballots.

Ballots must be returned or postmarked by Aug. 18, which is election day.

Voters can also track the status of their ballot’s journey at three different tracking points. Visit www.kingcounty.gov/elections for more information.

To ensure that voters with disabilities are able to cast a private and independent ballot, three accessible voting centers are available for the Aug. 18 election. In-person accessible voting begins today for all voters at King County Elections’ Renton office, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays The Seattle and Bellevue locations will open Aug. 14.
