There were at least 4 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day and 2 vehicles were recovered.
Robbery at gunpoint: A victim stated that he attempted to help a female who appeared to need assistance around 1 a.m. After following her to a nearby apartment complex, he was robbed by her and another individual who met them there. They took his vehicle at gunpoint, fired a handgun at the victim several times and struck him with their vehicle, causing minor injuries. The suspects then fled. The incident occurred near the 27300 block of 24th Avenue South.
Backpack stolen: While pumping gas around 6:30 p.m., a person’s backpack and key fob were stolen out of their car, which was not locked. The suspect was also seen via video surveillance casing other vehicles at the gas station, which is located near the 35100 block of Enchanted Parkway South.
Sex offense: A victim reported that a male grabbed her and pushed his hands down her pants around 5:40 p.m. near the 1900 block of South 314th Street. The suspect ran away after she screamed. Leads are currently exhausted.
Nov. 30
There were at least 2 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day and 1 vehicles were recovered.
Burglary: Federal Way officers responded to a commercial burglary in progress around 1 a.m. at a car rental location. After setting up a perimeter, the suspect was arrested without incident.
Death threats: Around 6 p.m. a victim received death threats from a former customer from his place of employment via cellphone. Probable cause for felony harassment was established.
Assault with a knife: At approximately 10:40 a.m., a victim said a subject approached him and threatened to stab him. The suspect was gone on arrival and an area check of the 31600 block of Pete von Reichbauer Way did not locate the suspect.
Street robbery: At around 8:30 p.m., a woman was assaulted by two unknown males near the 31400 block of 20th Avenue South. She was struck in the back of the head and her purse was stolen. The purse contained thousands of dollars in cash for rent.
Reckless burning: Officers were dispatched to a report of reckless burning in a retail parking lot around 3 a.m. When officers arrived, the fire was out and the suspect had fled.

Bank robbery: At approximately 4:41 p.m., an incident occurred at a bank near the 33500 block of Pacific Highway South. The incident is recorded as a robbery of a bank with a firearm, but no further details are included.
Facebook Marketplace gone wrong: Officers responded to a robbery with a gun near the 29100 block of Pacific Highway South. The victim was attempting to purchase a cellphone via Facebook Marketplace. When the supposed sellers arrived, they asked to see the cash for the purchase, and when the victim declined, they showed that they were carrying handguns. The victim attempted to run away, but the assailants stole his phone and ran. The victim attempted to follow them, but they fired a shot into the air.

Residential forced entry: Sometime around 2 a.m., two residents returned to their home only to find an unknown male inside. The suspect fled and has not been located. The lock was pried open, but no missing property has been identified and there were no signs of a search being made by the suspect.
U-Haul stolen: The reporting party had just moved his belongings into a truck in order to move them to a new residence when the vehicle was stolen around 7:45 a.m. The incident occurred near the 28400 block of 18th Avenue South.
DUI and tree collision: A driver was placed under arrest for DUI after crashing a vehicle into a tree around 10:45 p.m. near South 320th Street and Pacific Highway South.
Dec. 3
There were at least 3 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day and 2 vehicles were recovered.
Overdose after night out: Officers responded to a likely overdose at a local residence sometime between midnight and 3 a.m. They determined that the young adult had taken a drink from a stranger at a club that caused her to experience the overdose. She was transported to the hospital.
Retail employee assaulted: Around 6 p.m., a cart attendant at a retail store at the Commons Mall was assaulted, unprovoked. The suspect was very intoxicated and punched the employee four to six times.
Parking lot DUI: At approximately 7 p.m., officers responded to a two-vehicle collision in the parking lot of a retail store near the 34500 block of 16th Avenue South. The driver of one of the vehicles was an employee at the business and tried to walk off, but was arrested for DUI.
Gas station assault: Several subjects called 911 around 8 p.m. due to an altercation at a gas station on Pacific Highway. One subject was pepper sprayed after assaulting an employee and ultimately several subjects were trespassed, but no one pressed charges.
Reckless burning: A witness called 911 around 8:30 p.m. to report a fire being made in the parking lot of a grocery store on Pacific Highway. The suspect was arrested.
Dec. 4
There were at least 2 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day and 2 vehicles were recovered.
Juvenile shot: A young person was transported to the emergency room with three gunshot wounds around 2:30 a.m. Officers responded to reports of gunshots and another 911 call of someone trying to kick down a door near the 30600 block of Pacific Highway South. They were able to speak briefly to the victim and acquaintances, and also located the vehicle that transported the victim to the hospital. The vehicle had a firearm inside and has been towed for evidence.
Assault with firearm: Two unknown suspects assaulted a victim around 8 p.m. near the 33100 block of Pacific Highway South by punching him in the forehead and hitting him in the back of the head with a firearm. They then attempted to rob the victim of his backpack.
Facebook Marketplace theft: Around 6:40 p.m near the 3500 block of Enchanted Parkway South, an individual met up with someone from Facebook Marketplace to sell a phone. The supposed buyer kept the phone without paying and fled in an unlicensed vehicle.

There were at least 5 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day and 4 vehicles were recovered.
Nonresidential burglary: Police responded to an alarm around 5 a.m. at a barber shop near the 30800 block of Pacific Highway South. They observed forced entry through the front door. Suspects attempted to take an ATM by wrapping it with cables, but were unsuccessful.
Passerby helps save woman: A woman was unconscious on the sidewalk and receiving CPR from a passerby when medics arrived and provided Narcan. She was revived, but was aggressive after gaining consciousness, and ultimately was involuntarily committed after losing consciousness again.
Sexual crime: A man was observed masturbating inside the Federal Way library on 320th Street. Staff contacted 911 to have him trespassed and he was found to have warrants and arrested.
Pregnant woman assaulted: Officers responded to a report of a pregnant woman being pushed by an unknown suspect. When they arrived around 10 p.m. near the 1700 block of South 282nd Place, they found her on the ground with a young child. She was in pain and possibly bleeding and was transported to the hospital.
