Federal Way police are searching for a man accused of masturbating in front of a woman at a gas station and fleeing the scene after he frightened her on Sunday morning.

The man allegedly parked his car next to the victim’s vehicle, blocking her in the parking lot at the AM/PM at 27202 Pacific Highway South, according to the police report.

The man allegedly waved to get her attention and when she looked at him she could see he was masturbating, the report continues.

The woman told police she was “shocked” and “grossed out” by the man and motioned for him to leave. He moved his car and as he drove away in front of her, she took a photo of his license plate, which she gave to police.

She later identified the suspect in a photo montage police compiled. The man she identified matched the car’s registered owner.

Police also obtained video footage of the incident from the gas station that shows the driver leaving the scene in a hurry, according to the police report.

Officers checked both of the man’s recent documented addresses in Kent and Federal Way — both near the gas station — but were unable to locate him.

There is probable cause to charge the suspect with indecent exposure, according to the police report.

The Mirror does not name suspects who have not been charged with a crime.
