Man with knife: At approximately 7:50 p.m., police received a report of a suspicious subject carrying a large knife near the 2500 block of South 320th Street. They responded and observed the individual with the knife, then took the subject into custody for probable cause of dangerous weapons.
April 5
There were at least 5 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day and 1 vehicle was recovered.
High risk stop but no arrests: At approximately 2:20 a.m., officers located an occupied stolen vehicle near the 28800 block of Military Road South. They performed a high risk stop and detained the two subjects inside, but were unable to establish probable cause for possession of a stolen vehicle. A citation was issued and possession of other narcotics is listed as an additional offense in the report.
Assault with firearm: At approximately 9:10 a.m., Federal Way officers responded to a reported shooting with injuries off of 1st Avenue South. A suspect description and vehicle were obtained from several witnesses, but officers did not locate the suspect. The victim was provided aid by police, then by medics, then she was transported to the hospital.
Drugs found in stolen vehicle: Officers were patrolling a “problem house” at approximately 4:30 p.m. when an occupied stolen vehicle was located. An individual was booked for warrants for arrest and was in possession of 82 blue M/30 suspected fentanyl pills and 2.19 grams of suspected methamphetamine. The stolen vehicle and a stolen motorcycle were recovered.

Stolen vehicle: After locating a stolen vehicle, the driver inside stated that the car belonged to her friend and she had permission to drive it. Officers contacted the registered owner, who confirmed her story. Despite this, officers identified the woman as having had warrants out for her arrest and searched her vehicle, locating a handgun. Listed offense also include possession of a narcotic.
April 8
There were at least 6 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day and 6 vehicles were recovered.
Trespass and chase: At approximately 7 a.m., a suspect who was previously trespassed from a location near the 700 block of South 333rd Street returned. The suspect attempted to flee on foot after police contacted the individual via verbal commands, but officers arrested the subject.
Possible exorcism: Officers were dispatched to a CPR in progress at approximately 10 p.m. When they arrived, they found the patient with family members who were reading bible verses to him. The patient spoke about a grandmother in the room who had attacked him, but family members stated that the grandmother in question was deceased, and the patient had never met her. The patient also stated that he was being possessed or attacked by demons.
Large piece of equipment stolen: After a delivery at 7:45 a.m. of a 600-pound piece of equipment near the 33900 block of 38th Place Southwest, the reporting party states that the package disappeared within 10-15 minutes. To steal something that large would require special equipment, but the shipping company stated to the victim that the item was not taken back.

Mystery gun injury: At approximately 3:50 a.m. officers responded to a suspicious female in the backyard of someone’s home. Upon contact, she said she was shot by a known acquaintance and refused to cooperate, but did ask officers for a ride home.
Dangerous weapon at school: A report of possession of a firearm and dangerous weapons on school grounds was logged at 9:29 a.m. The location is redacted, but the school is located on Southwest 320th Street, and no further details were provided.
