Homeless women

All Saints’ Lutheran Church will host the Women of All Saints’ annual retreat Feb. 22-24 at the Dumas Bay Centre in Federal Way. This year’s service project involves creating hygiene kits for homeless women in Federal Way. The group will begin building kits at 11 a.m. Feb. 23 with items such as toothbrushes, soap, shampoo and more. The kits will be blessed, then donated to Federal Way Community Caregivers Network. Housing for seniors

The Federal Way Multi-Service Center will dedicate a new $17 million, 135-unit, low-income apartment complex for seniors in Kent this week. Radcliffe Place apartments are service enhanced and designed to help seniors live independently for as long as possible. Preschool music

Mainly Music, a program for pre-school age children and their parents, is hosting sessions in Federal Way. Children in the program focus and music and movement. Tom Pierson, CEO of the Federal Way Chamber of Commerce, was elected to the Western Association of Chamber Executives board of directors on Feb. 7. The WACE is the premier organization for education and professional development for chamber executives and staff. WACE represents over 800 chamber professionals in 17 Western states.
