Following is a sample from the Federal Way police log:
• Videotaping neighbor: At 12:55 p.m. May 22 in the 28200 block of 15th Avenue South, a victim reported seeing his neighbor videotaping the victim and his girlfriend. The neighbor was videotaping from a window in her home. The action is not illegal and police advised the victim to seek an anti-harassment order.
• Residential burglary: At 1:45 p.m. May 22 in the 3100 block of Southwest 319th Place, an unknown suspect removed a rear sliding door and entered a residence. The suspect stole two gaming consoles, jewelry and two television sets.
• Videotaping neighbor: At 12:55 p.m. May 22 in the 28200 block of 15th Avenue South, a victim reported seeing his neighbor videotaping the victim and his girlfriend. The neighbor was videotaping from a window in her home. The action is not illegal and police advised the victim to seek an anti-harassment order.
• Stolen vehicle: At 3:02 a.m. May 22 in the 30100 block of 18th Avenue South, police performed a traffic stop. They detained the juvenile driver when they learned the vehicle the juvenile was operating was stolen.
• Found wallet: At 8:10 p.m. May 22 in the 4200 block of Southwest 328th Street, a wallet was found in front of a person’s home. The wallet was turned over to police, who tried to contact its owner.
• Child struck by vehicle: At 3:56 p.m. May 23 in the 2400 block of South 286th Place, police responded to a report of a traffic accident. A motorist hit a child on a tricycle. The driver delivered the child to her father. The child was not severely injured and seemed to only suffer scraped knees.
• Forged prescription: At 3:49 p.m. May 23 in the 28800 block of Military Road, an unknown suspect used a forged prescription and stolen insurance card to obtain oxycontin.
• Domestic violence: At 1:26 a.m. May 23 in the 31800 block of 49th Terrace Southwest, a suspect put her significant other in a headlock and put a knife to her throat. The couple has dated for 20 years.
