Barkley is a 10-year-old male Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Mix, about 19 lbs. (ID #A490017).
This handsome guy is very sweet and loves to explore a fenced yard and check out every smell on his walks. He can be a bit aloof around people when he first meets them, but just until he gets to know them! Barkley loves his walks and is very good on a leash – he may be 10, but has a lot of stamina for walks and would love a home that will taken him on regular constitutionals! While Barkley doesn’t care for treats, he likes getting his ears scratched. He also knows how to sit on command! Barkley would do best in a home with kids 6 or older who will understand that he’s older, small, and needs to be treated gently. The veterinarians at the shelter found he does have some dental issues and needed some teeth pulled, so he may need to be on a canned food diet.
If you’re looking for a sweet little guy to be a walking buddy, Barkley could be the one for you! He’s neutered and current on vaccinations.
