The Mars Hill Church will open on Sept. 20 in Federal Way. The new church will bring the campus total to nine with an average weekly attendance of 8,000 for the large church.

The church plans on expanding to add 100 more church campuses in the next decade.

Samuel Choi, the new pastor at the Federal Way church, immigrated from South Korea as a teenager.

The church will meet at Sequoyah Middle School, 3425 S. 360th St.
