There were two vehicle thefts, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.
Electronics stolen: At about 8 a.m. in the 2100 block of SW 336th Street, the reporting party told officers that he is a Safeway vendor and his car had been broken into, and $5,000 worth of electronics were stolen.
Threat with a gun: At about 9:40 a.m. in the 100 block of S. 333rd Street, officers responded to possible threats with a weapon. The subject was gone upon arrival. The officers spoke with witnesses who said they saw an unknown mixed-race male load a magazine into a black colored handgun. The suspect’s vehicle was described as a white four-door Honda.
Aug. 8
There was one vehicle theft, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.
Panera Bread burglary: At about 12:45 a.m. at Panera Bread, officers found that a rock was thrown through the east entrance of the restaurant. Officers cleared the building, but could not contact the keyholder to inform them of the incident. No suspect information was acquired, and a case number was eventually made and given to an employee for insurance purposes.
Stabbed in the neck: At about 2:34 a.m. in the 2900 block of Pacific Hwy. S., officers responded to an address for a call regarding a patient who had been stabbed in the neck. The victim stated that they had been assaulted with a knife while in Seattle.
Rock thrown at Cold Stone: At about 3 a.m., at Cold Stone Creamery, officers found a shattered glass door and a rock inside the business. Officers cleared the building, and the owner responded. No surveillance video was found. Damage estimated at $1,000.
Shattered glass door: At about 9:30 a.m. in the 31000 block of Gateway Center Blvd., officers responded to a report of a front glass door that had been shattered at a business. The reporting party said there also appeared to be damage to a nearby wall. The reporting party said it appeared that a rock had been thrown at the wall several times.
Armed robbery: At about 12:15 p.m. in the 3100 block of Pete von Reichbauer Way S., officers contacted a victim by phone who reported that he was robbed at gunpoint. The victim was unable to provide specifics and was asked to come to the police department to provide details.
Gun flashed: At about 2:40 p.m. on Pacific Hwy. S. and S. 320th St., someone called to say that a male flashed a handgun at them while in traffic, but did not point it. The man was wearing a white baseball hat.
Winco robbery: At about 7:10 p.m., officers were dispatched to Winco for an armed robbery. Officers found probable cause for first-degree robbery, and a K-9 track ensued, and air support was called. The suspect was still at large when this report was filed.
Aug. 9
There was one vehicle theft, and six vehicles were recovered on this day.
Stolen work vehicle: At about 7:10 a.m. in the 34000 block of 21st Ave. SW, officers responded to a construction site that was chain locked. When workers arrived in the morning, they noticed that the padlock was cut and a work vehicle was missing.
Stolen gun: At about 12:50 p.m. in the parking lot of the Commons Mall, a man reported that his Glock 43x was stolen from the glove compartment of his vehicle while it was parked and unoccupied. The man said because his car battery was dead, he could not lock the doors of his car. No CCTV footage was available.
Air conditioner: At about 3 p.m. in the 1700 block of S. 352nd St., a man who had previously stolen a $400 air conditioning unit from Home Depot was arrested. The man attempted to steal again, but then the man fled. He left in a motorhome and then was pulled over and arrested for theft.

Aug. 11

Noises: At about 2:05 a.m. at Seamar Community Health, officers responded to a report of sounds of banging and broken glass from a building.
Shoplifters arrested: At about 7:20 p.m. at Winco, two people tried to do a “cart push” from Winco. The loss prevention officer tried to detain one of the suspects, but she resisted and kicked the loss prevention officer multiple times. She eventually was detained and brought into the loss prevention office. She was arrested for theft and assault, and officers found a bag of blue M30 pills on her person. She was transported to SCORE jail for booking.
Aug. 12
There were two vehicle thefts, and four vehicles were recovered on this day.
Broken glass: At about 7:30 a.m. in the 31000 block of 18th Avenue S., the reporting party arrived at the location and discovered that a window had been smashed out overnight. No apparent entry was made, nor were items taken from the building.
Juveniles caught stealing: At about 6 p.m. at Walmart, two juveniles were caught attempting to steal $178.46 worth of products. Officers identified one of the juveniles and then identified the second juvenile through their middle school identification card. The juveniles were eventually released into the custody of their uncle.
Aug. 13
There was one vehicle theft, and two vehicles were recovered on this day.
Gunfire: At about 12:35 a.m. in the 34000 block of 1st Circle S., there was a 911 call to report sounds of gunfire in an apartment complex. There were three subjects seen running in different directions from the scene. A male fled the area while police were on scene, but was not apprehended. There were no victims when the report was made.
Doctor’s office: At about 12 p.m. in the 35000 block of Pacific Hwy. S., the reporting party advised that their doctor’s office had been burglarized. No suspect information at the time of the call.
Threat with a knife: At about 1:10 p.m. at Grocery Outlet on Pacific Hwy. S., officers responded to a report of threats with a knife. Upon arrival, officers interviewed the female victim, who was shaken and visibly upset. The victim stated that an unknown male pulled out a folding knife, pointed it at her, and threatened to kill her. The case was inactive due to leads being exhausted.
Vehicular assault: At about 5:10 p.m. in the 2000 block of S. 320th St., a red sedan recklessly followed the victim on their motorcycle. As the sedan caught up to the motorcycle, it swerved and collided with the motorcycle. This maneuver caused the motorcycle rider to lose control and ultimately fall off of it and slide down the highway. The sedan received significant front-end damage and collided with multiple other vehicles before stopping farther down the road. No major injuries were received by anyone involved. The case was forwarded to the Criminal Investigation Section as an Assault 3 case.
