Dec. 11

There were two vehicle thefts, and four vehicles were recovered on this day.

Assault with a knife: At about 4:40 p.m. in the 2800 block of S. 304th St., officers responded to a road rage incident turned assault investigation that revealed probable cause for assault in the second degree. Assault with a knife was reported.

Dec. 12

There was one vehicle theft, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.

Disgruntled patient references CEO murder: At about 3:25 p.m. in the 30000 block of 1st Ave. S., officers responded to a phone report of a threat toward a medical facility. The reporting party advised a disgruntled patient called in and made vague threats toward the medical facility by speaking about the recent murder of the UnitedHealthcare CEO in New York. No other threats were made, and the male never came to the location.

Dec. 13

There was one vehicle theft, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.

Runs into wall: At about 4 p.m. on Pacific Hwy. S. and S. Dash Point Rd., it was reported that a vehicle drove into a cement wall and then fled from the scene. The driver was located and arrested for DUI.

Dec. 14

There was one vehicle theft, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.

Carjacking: At about 6:20 p.m. in the 100 block of SW Campus Dr., there was a report that a suspect committed a carjacking with a gun and stole the victim’s vehicle.

Dec. 15

There was one vehicle theft, and two vehicles were recovered on this day.

Man shot in the leg: At about 8 a.m. in the 35000 block of Pacific Hwy. S., there was a report of a shooting with an injury. Officers located a male who was shot in the leg. The suspects were gone upon arrival. The victim was transported to St. Francis Hospital.

Eluding police: At about 7 p.m. in the 100 block of SW Campus Dr., there was a report that a stolen vehicle took off from an officer. A short pursuit occurred, but the pursuit was terminated.

Dec. 16

There was one vehicle theft, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.

Threat with a knife: At about 4:45 p.m. in the 310000 block of 14th Ave. S., officers responded to a threat with a knife that occurred in the parking lot of the Brookdale retirement home.

Dec. 17

There was one vehicle theft, and three vehicles were recovered on this day.

Business rammed into: At about 3:45 a.m. in the 32000 block of 1st Ave. S., officers responded to a commercial alarm and found that a Hyundai had been used to ram the front of the business.

Strong-arm robbery: At about 7:35 a.m. in the 34000 block of Pacific Hwy. S., there was a report of a strong-arm robbery when officers were dispatched to St. Francis Hospital, where a nurse reported a patient who had been assaulted.
