Hit-and-run: At about 4:58 a.m. near the 28400 block of 18th Avenue South, officers responded to a hit-and-run traffic collision.
Road rage: At about 9:55 a.m. near the 32000 block of 1st Avenue South, a driver accidentally cut off another driver, who then began tailgating the first driver. At a stoplight, the suspect driver exited his vehicle and approached the first driver, and then punched the first driver in the face.
Attempted carjacking: At about 6 p.m. near the 30600 block of Pacific Highway South, a person was parked in the parking lot of an apartment complex when an unknown man approached him and attempted to force him out of his vehicle, but was unsuccessful.
March 24
There were at least 5 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day.
Man with axe at McDonald’s: At about 2:12 a.m. near the 34800 block of Pacific Highway South, Mcdonald’s employees observed a man with an axe break the front door, then they heard banging on the back door. The employees called 911. Officers arrested the man and he was booked into jail.
March 25

Flower pot thrown: At about 12:53 a.m. near the 33000 block of 22nd Place South, a person heard the sound of glass breaking and found an unknown suspect had thrown a flower pot through the garage window.
Fire at Transit Center: At about 8:55 p.m. near the 31600 block of 23rd Avenue South, a man was detained after starting a fire next to the newspaper bins at the Transit Center. He was cited and released for reckless burning and was also trespassed from the YTransit Center for three months.
March 26
There were at least 4 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day.
Assault leads to arrest: At about 6:39 a.m. near the 1900 block of South 314th Street, a person called 911 to report an assault. Once police were on the scene, the person pointed at the suspect, who began to run away. Officers chased the suspect and the suspect was arrested and then booked into jail.
March 27
There were at least 5 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day.
Man bites officer: At about 5:26 p.m. near the 1900 block of South 320th Street, a male suspect bit a police officer during an arrest. The suspect was booked into jail.
