Domestic violence: At 9:57 p.m. on Nov. 29 in the 3200 block of Fourth Place SW, police officers responded to a domestic dispute between a mother and daughter. The mother reported her daughter was “extremely intoxicated” and was trying to take her 4 and 3-year-old children from the house and the mother was concerned for the children’s safety.

Police arrested the intoxicated woman for assault and domestic violence in the presence of minors.

Victim chases after suspects: At 9 p.m. on Nov. 29 in the 1000 block of S. 312th St., two 14-year-old males took two game consoles from a victim. The victim was then approached by another young male with a gun who took the victim’s phone and wallet and ran off.

The victim chased the suspects, caught up to them and was assaulted by them, receiving minor injuries. The suspects then gave the victim’s game consoles back, but the phone and wallet were not recovered. There is no further suspect information at this time.

Woman reports unwanted attention: At 1 p.m. on Nov. 28 in the 3000 block of  21st Ave. S., a woman reported a man was trying to pursue a romantic relationship with her, but that she has declined because his father is engaged to her mother and he has a child by her cousin.

However, the man has become very persistent and has been coming to her residence uninvited and has pounded on the door and demanded to use the restroom. He also picked her son up while he was walking home from school without her knowledge or permission.

The woman reportedly fears the man is trying to use her children to insinuate himself into her life. Police provided the victim with information on how to obtain a restraining order.

Angry boyfriend ruins house window and two cars: At 1:15 p.m. on Nov. 27 in the 4000 block of SW 331st Place, a victim reported the driver’s side of one of his or her cars and the rear window of another car was broken out.

The front address of the victim’s home was also broken by a large rock that was thrown into the window. The family of the home stated they believed their son’s ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend may have committed the crime, but there is no evidence to support that theory at this time.

Motorist finds assaulted female: At 7 p.m. on Nov. 27 in the 4700 block of SW Dash Point Road, a motorist came upon another vehicle stopped in the roadway with a female subject standing outside of the car, bleeding from the nose, mouth and face.

The woman told the motorist that she was assaulted by a male passenger who had just ran away from the area.  The motorist called 911. After talking with the woman, police determined the female and her boyfriend were in a physical altercation in the vehicle. The female jumped from the moving car and screamed as the male exited the car and ran from the scene.

Medical aid was provided to the female at the scene. Police gave the woman a domestic violence pamphlet listing phone numbers, assistance programs and resources for her use. The case was forwarded to the prosecutor’s office for review and consideration of filing criminal charges.

Thanksgiving food fight: At 7:34 p.m. on Nov. 27 in the 100 block of S. 338th Place, a woman had a large gathering of family and friends over for a Thanksgiving feast, at which her two daughters reportedly got into a dispute that escalated to a food fight.

The woman told police she was not exactly sure what happened due to all the commotion, but stated she saw no assault or injury. The woman reported someone stated something about someone grabbing a knife but this report could not be substantiated. Upon police arrival, the apartment was clean and all involved parties had left. Police were unable to locate or contact either of the daughters. An investigation concluded no crime was committed.

Man arrested for assaulting girlfriend: At 11:01 p.m. Nov. 26 in the 31500 block of 25th Lane S., a woman called 911 to report an armed man got into her home and was threatening to kill her and her children. She said she heard a knock on the door and her daughter answered. A man standing outside the door yelled “I’m going to kill you.”

The woman ran toward the door and observed a male she knows standing in the doorway. The male attempted to step inside the residence. He was pushed outside and began to walk down the stairs toward the lower level apartments. He yelled, then stopped and pulled a folding knife from his right front pants pocket.

He flipped the knife open and began to run back up the stairs screaming, “I’m going to kill you.” The woman’s son, who was also at the residence, slammed the door shut. The male could be heard outside the residence yelling “I’m going to get my gun.” The woman stated that she felt threatened and that her life, as well as the lives of her children were at risk.

Police responded to the scene and attempted to get the suspect to exit the apartment unit, but the man yelled threats and derogatory statements at them and refused to exit. Officers obtained a warrant and a SWAT team entered the apartment and arrested the suspect. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to SCORE jail where he was booked and charged with harassment with a weapon.

Woman reports harassment: At 3:53 p.m. Nov. 26 at an unknown address, a victim called police to report multiple unwanted phone contact by a known male. The victim stated she wished to give statements at a later time.

Man surprises woman in the bathroom: At 7 p.m. Nov. 26 in the 3000 block on First Way S., a woman reported she was using the bathroom at the Federal Way library when a black or Hispanic male in his mid-twenties entered the bathroom. The victim stated there was no one else in the bathroom.

She reported that she looked down and observed the male’s eyes staring back at her from under her stall. She yelled and started hitting the stall walls attempting to get the male to leave. Eventually the male left the restroom. The victim stated the male was possibly wearing a hoodie and had large running shoes on. The woman told police she could not identify the male again because she did not see his entire face.

Man arrested for assaulting girlfriend: At 11 p.m. Nov. 26 in the 200 block of Military Road, police responded to a call about domestic violence. The woman reported her boyfriend was intoxicated and assaulted her in front of her children. Police reportedly saw marks supporting her claim of being punched. The boyfriend was arrested and taken to SCORE, where he was checked for injuries and later cleared for booking.

Husband reports suicidal wife: At 2:50 p.m. Nov. 25 in the 27000 block of 23rd  Place S., a man called 911 saying he believed his wife was suicidal and had their 10 month old daughter with them.

Police reported finding the woman in a closet with a large butcher knife, shaking and mumbling incoherently. Once police got the woman outside of the closet, she started crying. The husband helped calm his wife and told police she has been depressed lately.

Armed men caught casing houses: At 10:09 a.m. Nov. 24 in the 35500 block of 11th Ave. SW, police were contacted about two possible subjects casing houses. Police located the subjects and found brass knuckles on one of the suspects. One of the men was arrested for possessing a dangerous weapon.
