Man masturbates at library computer | Federal Way crime blotter

• Public masturbator #1: At 2:59 p.m. Sept. 30 in the 34000 block of 1st Way South, police were dispatched to reports of a man masturbating at the Federal Way Public Library.

Following is a sample from the Federal Way police log:

• Public masturbator #1: At 2:59 p.m. Sept. 30 in the 34000 block of 1st Way South, police were dispatched to reports of a man masturbating at the Federal Way Public Library. According to the report, the man was viewing pornography on a library computer and masturbating while doing so. The suspect was detained by police without incident.

• Public masturbator #2: At 4:17 p.m. Sept. 30 in the 5100 block of SW 324th Place, a person called to say they saw their neighbor chasing a man through their backyard. According to the police report, the reporting party said the man being chased had been masturbating in the neighbor’s backyard. Neither the neighbor nor the suspect were located/contacted.

• Lonely bicycle: At 1:35 p.m. Oct. 2 in the 34000 block of 16th Avenue South, an officer was dispatched for an abandoned bicycle. Upon arrival, the officer located the bicycle, but was unable to locate the person who abandoned it. According to the police report, the officer ran the serial number of the bicycle and it was not stolen. The bicycle was taken back to the police department.

• Home invasion suspect: At 10:44 a.m. Oct. 1 in the 30000 block of 6th Place SW, a person called to report a suspect from an armed home invasion robbery was at a residence. According to the police report, the suspect was wanted for an armed home invasion that took place in Kent on Sept. 29. Police arrived at the residence, and the suspect was taken into custody without incident.

• Stoned at Wild Waves: At 11:48 p.m. Oct. 1 in the 36000 block of Enchanted Parkway South, Wild Waves Theme Park employees contacted police regarding three juveniles seen smoking pot. Upon arrival, police discovered the juveniles were in possession of “3 bottles of MJ,” according to the police report. The juveniles’ parents were called and took them into custody.

• Son goes AWOL: At 11:03 a.m. Sept. 30 in the 33000 block of 22nd Avenue SW, a father called to report his son was missing. According to the father, the son had said he was going to a friend’s house a couple of nights before and had not returned. According to the report, the son had no history of runaways or mental issues. The police report also indicated there were no suspicious circumstances at the time of the report.

• Facebook keeps tabs on you…always: At 12:08 a.m. Sept. 26 in the 31000 block of 14th Avenue South, a mother called to say her daughter had left a note not to look for her at school that Monday. The daughter had not returned by the time of the report. The mother indicated she felt her daughter was staying at a friend’s house in Des Moines, based on Facebook posts she had seen from her daughter’s friends.
