Man claims he fed bodies of 5 kids to his dog | Federal Way crime blotter

Following is a sample from the Federal Way police log:

• Unfounded confession: At 9:53 p.m. May 19 in the 800 block of Southwest 295th Street, a missionary reported to police that she had received a call from a “blocked number” and it was a male’s voice who said he needed to confess to raping five children and then feeding their bodies to his dog, according to the police report. The woman didn’t know who the call was from, but gave police a possible suspect. Police contacted the man and his phone was searched and no calls were made during the time specified by the woman. The man also denied calling the missionary. Police also didn’t find any evidence that the man had a dog.

• Stolen tools: At 4:48 p.m. May 16 at Sears in The Commons Mall, police received a call that $229.97 worth of tools was stolen. After the suspect was caught, the man was also in possession of several items of drug paraphernalia, including syringes and meth, according to a police report.

• Stolen money: At 11:39 a.m. May 10 in the 32000 block of 8th Avenue SW, a man reported that $3,500 in cash was stolen from his bedroom while he was at work. The victim believes that his landlord stole it to support his gambling habit, according to a police report. There were no witnesses.

• Assault: At 7:11 p.m. May 17 in the 2200 block of S. 320th Street, a woman reported that she was assaulted by two unknown suspects while she was walking because she wouldn’t give them change. The suspects were not located.

• Domestic violence: At 4:47 a.m. May 17 in the 2300 block of Southwest 352nd Street, a victim reported that she was assaulted by a male. The suspect grabbed her by the hair, dragged her down a hallway inside her apartment and threw her on top of a glass table, according to a police report. The suspect also allegedly punched her in the face. She also cut her leg on broken glass, according to the report. The suspect fled the scene prior to the police arrival and the victim refused aid.

• Grab-and-run: At 4:14 p.m. May 18 at Sears in The Commons Mall, two suspects completed a grab-and-run theft of $164.98 worth of tools. One suspect stole the tools and the other drove a getaway car. The pair attempted to flee in a BMW. They were stopped when several police officers swarmed on the area. Both suspects were also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the police report.

• Burglary: At 1:47 p.m. May 20 in the 30000 block of 26th Avenue Southwest, a man left home for a couple of hours and returned to find that unknown suspects had entered his home and stole various items totaling $20,000, according to a police report.

• Luring: At 7:12 a.m. May 20 at Todd Beamer High School, a female student reported that a heavy-set, unknown Hispanic-looking male driving an older, light-blue van had asked her to get into his vehicle three times. One time he offered her money, according to the police report. Police couldn’t find the car.
