The following is a sample from the Federal Way police public information log:
• At 1:24 p.m. Aug. 5 at 2905 S.W. 330th St., a male reported he was assaulted while riding home from his girlfriend’s house on a unicycle. He was stopped by a man who appeared between the ages of 18 and 20. The man told the victim to stay away from his sister. The victim did not know who the suspect’s sister was. The suspect attempted to punch the victim.
• At 7:33 p.m. Aug. 5 at 4618 S.W. 325th Way, a victim reported mail missing. The victim’s mail was replaced with a neighbor’s mail. Some of this was opened.
• At 8:31 a.m. Aug. 5 at 1423 S. 303rd St., police responded to a call of malicious mischief. A victim’s mother stated the victim’s vehicle had been spray-painted overnight. Three other similar incidents were seen in the area. There are no suspects or witnesses.
• At 11:08 p.m. Aug. 4 at 32116 18th Ave. S.W., a man and woman came to a third party’s home to buy a dog. All parties were involved in drinking and unwanted touching.
• At 12:09 a.m. Aug. 4 at 32000 Pacific Highway S., a man reported getting into an argument with an acquaintance over whether the suspect should drive after having consumed alcohol. The suspect threw a rock through the victim’s window and hit the victim with a stick.
• At 1:38 p.m. Aug. 3 at 35411 25th Ave. S.W., a man reported he let his daughter’s mother take her overnight. He had not heard from his 6-year-old daughter or her mother and feared the woman may take the child to Florida, where she was expected to soon move.
• At 8:14 a.m. Aug. 3 at 27300 Pacific Highway S., a person reported that someone stole six glass mirrors from three separate vans. Only the glass was taken.
• At 8:03 p.m. Aug. 3 at 28425 18th Ave. S., a man reported his revolver missing from his bedroom closet. He reported numerous people had recently been in his residence and many of them knew of the firearm.
• At 10:27 p.m. Aug. 3, a rape was reported. The incident occurred in February and was reported by the victim’s mother.
