Man asks to see security guard’s privates | Federal Way crime blotter

At 10:58 a.m. Oct. 26 in the 3400 block of SW 320th Street, the reporting party informed police that a security guard at their business had been approached by an unknown male.

Following is a sample from the Federal Way police log:

• Show me your junk: At 10:58 a.m. Oct. 26 in the 3400 block of SW 320th Street, the reporting party informed police that a security guard at their business had been approached by an unknown male. According to the report, the man identified himself as either “Cinco” or “Cisco” to the security guard. The report notes that the man then asked a series of questions of the security guard, before asking the security guard to expose himself. According to the report, the security guard ended the conversation and returned to the office to avoid any further interaction with the man.

• Vehicle break-in: At 9:19 a.m. Oct. 26 in the 2800 block of South 284th Place, police responded to a vehicle break-in call. According to the police report, approximately $1,300 worth of tools were stolen from the vehicle.

• Catalytic converters: At 12:11 a.m. Oct. 26 in the 27000 block of Pacific Highway South, police responded to a call of theft of vehicle parts. According to the police report, the victim’s catalytic converter was stolen from his/her vehicle. The report also notes that it appears a saw was used to remove the victim’s catalytic converter.

• Father discovers son dead: At 11:08 a.m. Oct. 26 in the 2100 block of South 285th Street, a 90-year-old man reported the death of his 70-year-old son. According to the police report, the 70-year-old son died by hanging himself. The father said his son had been depressed recently, and had also developed a narcotic painkiller addiction because of a surgery. The police report indicates that the son left a suicide note, telling his father that he was very sick and providing his father with some instructions on how to handle his estate.

• Copper wire thieves: At 8:15 a.m. Oct. 26 in the 32000 block of Weyerhaueser Way, the reporting party indicated that all of the copper wiring in the parking lot lights had been stolen. According to the police report, the amount of copper wiring was valued at approximately $2,200.

• Smashed window: At 6:07 p.m. Oct. 26 in the 33000 block of 35th Avenue SW, a victim called police to report a brick had been thrown through her living room window. According to the report, the victim believes an ex-girlfriend of her current boyfriend is responsible for it.

• Lonely bag of marijuana: At 10:39 a.m. Oct. 26 in the 31000 block of 1st Avenue South, a passerby contacted the police about a possible bag of marijuana that was sitting on the side of the road near the intersection of 317th Avenue and 1st Avenue. The police were able to locate the bag, and destroyed the marijuana.

• iPhone 4 stolen in class: At 12:58 p.m. Oct. 26, a teacher reported that his/her iPhone 4 was stolen during class from the teacher’s desk. According to the report, the teacher gave police a roster of students that were in the class at the time, and interviews are ongoing.
