King County Councilmember Pete von Reichbauer is hosting a free document shredding event in Federal Way at the Performing Arts and Event Center (PAEC) from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 24.

“After a three-year hiatus, I am pleased to be able to again offer South King County residents an opportunity to protect their financial security and identity,” said von Reichbauer.

The PAEC is at 31510 Pete Von Reichbauer Way S. in Federal Way.

Similar to previous years, residents can bring documents they would like to be shredded. Seadrunar, a secure document disposal company, will have a mobile shredding unit on-site and people will be able to watch their documents shredded “live.”
