There were zero vehicle thefts, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.

Man assaulted on BPA Trail: At about 8:05 a.m. in the 100 block of SW 330th Street, a man approached a hiker on the BPA Trail, and the hiker was assaulted. The suspect was described as a Black man wearing a colorful beanie and brown jacket. The victim suffered minor injuries. An area check was done, but no suspect was located.

Security guard assaulted: At about 11:10 a.m. in the 30000 block of Pacific Hwy. S., officers responded to a report of an assault on a security guard at an apartment complex. The victim stated that a transient male was sleeping in one of the rooms on the property, and when the victim told him to leave, the man shoved him as he left. No suspect was located.

Man assaulted with metal pole: At about 3:20 p.m. at Multicare in Federal Way, officers were dispatched after being alerted that there was a man who had been dropped off and said he had been assaulted with a metal pole. The man had an obvious head wound, but he did not want to speak with the police.

Male stabbed: At about 5:25 p.m. in the 29000 block of Pacific Hwy. S., there was a report of a man who was stabbed. He was transported to Harborview Medical Center.

There were three vehicle thefts, and three vehicles were recovered on this day.

Drugs in plain view: At about 9:05 p.m. in the 1200 block of S. 320th St., police officers conducted a welfare check on an adult who had fallen asleep behind the wheel of a vehicle. Suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia were seen in plain view on the driver’s seat and floorboard. The male was issued a citation and released from custody for knowingly possessing a controlled substance. The vehicle was taken to the police department for an evidence search.

Nov. 22

There were four vehicle thefts, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.

Gas station robbery: At about 3:30 a.m. in the 28000 block of Military Rd. S., officers responded to an armed robbery involving four male suspects. When officers arrived on the scene, the suspects were already gone. No one was hurt, but several hundred dollars were stolen at gunpoint.

Gun stolen from vehicle: At about 10:50 p.m. in the 1000 block of S. 348th St., an officer responded to a theft from a vehicle in which a suspect stole a tool bag and a .22 caliber pistol.

Illicit discharge: At about 5:35 p.m. in the 31000 block of 4th Ave. SW, officers responded to an illegal discharge at the listed location. The reporting party said there were three gunshots heard in the area. Officers canvassed the area for additional evidence of an illegal discharge. Officers discovered a single shell casing in the middle of the road. Officers took multiple photographs of where the shell casing was found. No victim was located, and there was no apparent damage to the property.

There were three vehicle thefts, and three vehicles were recovered on this day.

Juveniles spin out in stolen car: At about 4:15 p.m. in the 31000 block of 29th Ave. S., officers located a recklessly driven vehicle. The vehicle spun out around a corner on its own accord, and two subjects fled on foot. The vehicle was determined to have been stolen. There was no pursuit. One juvenile suspect was located hiding nearby. A second suspect was unidentified, but was seen on Ring camera setting up to ambush officers. A stolen firearm was located where the second suspect fled, and stolen police equipment was recovered from the vehicle. The juvenile was released to their family with charges to be forwarded to the prosecutor’s officer for review.

Nov. 24

There was one vehicle theft, and two vehicles were recovered on this day.

Possible ties to robberies: At about 3 a.m. in the 32000 block of 19th Pl. S., officers located a suspect vehicle that had been used in a string of armed robberies over the past several days. A pursuit was initiated that quickly ended in a successful pit maneuver. Four suspects fled on foot. Two out of four suspects were apprehended after extensive assistance from outside agencies and K9 teams. Kent Police Department responded to collect the suspect vehicle. Auburn Police Department responded to take custody of the two suspects and evidence.

Nov. 25

There were three vehicle thefts, and three vehicles were recovered on this day.

Wrong side of the road: At about 2:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of S. 320th St., officers observed a vehicle driving the wrong direction. The vehicle trapped itself in a median, and a traffic stop was made. After an investigation, the driver was arrested for DUI.
