There were at least 3 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day and 4 vehicles were recovered.
Arson with fireworks: Around 5:15 p.m. a rock and active firework were thrown through the window of an inhabited residential home near the 34000 block of 19th Place Southwest. The firework exploded inside the home.
Gas station robbery: A victim reported that she went to her car after stopping at an ATM when a suspect with a gun attempted to break her window and rob her at a gas station on 21st Avenue Southwest. The victim escaped by putting her car in reverse, striking the suspect vehicle and causing minimal damage, then fleeing the scene.
Attempted carjacking: An unknown suspect attempted to cut off the victims who were driving in a vehicle that they had recently recovered after being stolen. The suspect pointed a shotgun at both of them and yelled that they were in his car. The incident occurred near the 27400 block of Pacific Highway South.
Nonresidential robbery: A suspect entered a business around 4:25 p.m. on Southwest 336th Street, placed an order, then opened his jacket to show the cashier a black handgun. He forced her to give him the cash out of the register, then fled in a vehicle.
Shooting: A victim was found with an apparent gunshot wound to his right hip around 5:30 p.m. near the 27400 block of Pacific Highway South. South King Fire responded to the medical aid call as well. The location of the shooting itself has not been determined.
Purse theft: At approximately 10 p.m., a victim was entering the back of a vehicle near the 31700 block of Gateway Center Boulevard when unknown subjects opened the front passenger door and grabbed the victim’s purse. The victim attempted to physically grab the purse out of the subject’s grasp, but was unsuccessful.

There were at least 4 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day and 4 vehicles were recovered.
Nonresidential burglary: Police responded to a commercial burglary around 10 a.m. near the 35100 block of Enchanted Parkway South.
Trailer stolen: A 14-foot trailer was stolen from a parking lot at approximately 5 p.m. located in the 34100 block of Hoyt Road Southwest that contained approximately $20,000 of artificial turf equipment.
Alcohol and electronics theft: At approximately 5:20 a.m., a business near the 31800 block of South Gateway Center Boulevard was burglarized, resulting in the loss of $3,282 in alcohol and $2,600 in electronics.

There were at least 5 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day and 2 vehicles were recovered.
Gas station robbery: At approximately 11:30 p.m., a gas station on Southwest 312th Street was robbed by two unknown subjects who threatened an employee and acquired several cigarettes and $100. The suspects arrived on foot and were armed with what appeared to be a black pistol.
Nonresidential burglary: Police responded to an alarm at a business located in the 32800 block of Pacific Highway South. An unknown suspect is recorded on CCTV scaling the fence and stealing a customer’s vehicle.
Gunshot wound: At approximately 9:15 a.m., police responded to a report of someone with a gunshot wound near the 28700 block of 18th Avenue South. They located an individual with a wound, but he did not want to cooperate with police.
Overdose at gas station: Officers responded with the fire department to a person experiencing an overdose around 8:40 a.m. at a gas station on Pacific Highway South. The person lived and was transported to the hospital.
Residential burglary: A homeowner called 911 to report an overnight burglary to their residence located near the 36600 block of 6th Avenue Southwest. Police identified minor damage to an external door.

There were at least 3 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day and 2 vehicles were recovered.
18 year old DUI: A male subject was arrested for DUI around midnight after crashing into multiple parked cars near the 2200 block of South 308th Street with his vehicle, causing damages.
Residential burglary: At approximately 7:15 a.m., a victim was woken by his house security alarm and discovered that the door to his garage was open and that a plastic tray and “aircraft scanner” had been taken, and his handicap placard was askew. This incident occurred near the 33900 block of 28th Place South.

There were at least 7 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day and vehicles were recovered.
Juvenile car prowlers: A group of four juveniles were detained around 1:30 a.m. after they prowled a vehicle at an apartment complex on 14th Avenue South. One of them was in possession of a loaded handgun with no record of an owner.
Gas station assault: An employee was assaulted with pepper spray around 6:40 a.m. at a gas station near the 31800 block of 6th Place Southwest. The victim turned around fast enough to not be injured.
Road rage: At around 3:55 p.m., a victim called to report that a driver pointed what appeared to be a handgun at her after she cut the victim off.
Nov. 6
There were at least 3 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day and 3 vehicles were recovered.
Vehicle arson: At around 1:05 a.m., a local resident called to report that a vehicle was on fire in the roadway near his house near Southwest 304th Street. Fire crews responded and put out the fire. There is no suspect information at this time.
Residential burglary: At approximately 10:50 a.m., officers contacted a victim who reported that a residential burglary occurred while she was upstairs at home. Damaged property was discovered, and CCTV showed a suspect entering and leaving the home. Police used a K9 to attempt to track, but no suspects were located. This incident occurred at a residence on 11th Avenue Southwest.
Street robbery: An elderly woman was robbed of her purse in her driveway at approximately noon near the 35400 block of 23rd Avenue Southwest.
Attempted purse theft: Around 1:25 p.m. a victim was approached by a suspect who attempted to take her purse. A struggle ensued and the suspect was unsuccessful in taking the purse.
Robbery thwarted: Police responded to an in-progress armed robbery around 1:51 p.m. at the Park and Ride near the 27400 block of Pacific Highway South. The suspect was located, identified and apprehended.
Failed purse theft: At approximately 4:35 p.m., a suspect attempted to grab the reporting party’s purse. The purse had a thick strap that was around the reporting party’s body, and the suspect was unable to acquire the purse.
Counterfeit bills: A suspect attempted to use $300 worth of counterfeit bills around 11:50 p.m. at a business on 28800 Military Road South. Officers contacted and detained a suspect matching the description and established probable cause to arrest.

Assault with firearm: At approximately 2 p.m. an unknown suspect shot a victim in the hip near the 31600 block of Pete Von Reichbauer Way South. The victim could not provide a suspect description.
