Intoxicated driver causes head-on collision | Federal Way Police Blotter

Following is a sample from the Federal Way police log from May 31 to June 6.

May 31

There were at least 3 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day.

Ramming vehicle: At about 1:39 p.m. Near the 30900 block of 16th Avenue SW, a suspect rammed his vehicle into the victim’s vehicle multiple times. He was booked into the Kent City Jail.

Indecent exposure: At about 3 p.m. near the 31600 block of 23rd Avenue South, a person reported that a man on sitting on a public bus was masturbating. The person reported that the man was inappropriately touching himself throughout the duration of the trip from Seattle to Federal Way. The man was located at the Federal Way Transit Center and was taken into custody. He was booked into jail on misdemeanor indecent exposure charges.

June 1

There were at least 7 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day.

Assault with firearm: At about 10:52 p.m. near the 1200 block of South 336th Street, officers responded to a domestic violence incident involving a firearm. Probable cause was developed for two counts of first-degree assault and first-degree burglary.

June 2

There were at least 4 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day.

Stolen vehicle at school: At about 8:40 a.m. near the 35900 block of 16th Avenue South, police were patrolling the parking lot of Todd Beamer High School when they located a stolen vehicle with a broken rear window in the parking lot. Surveillance footage captured an identified suspect.

June 3

There were at least 9 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day.

Stabbing: At about midnight near the 31000 block of Pacific Highway South, officers responded to a stabbing. The reporting party told police that his friend was stabbed and the suspect was gone upon police arrival. The suspect was not located.

Hanging plants stolen: At about 8:49 a.m. near the 2200 block of South 300th Street, the reporting party stated that sometime overnight, an unknown suspect stole two of their hanging plants.

Threats with a knife: At about 9:20 a.m. Near the 1900 block of South 314th Street, officers responded to a woman in the Walmart parking lot who reportedly had a knife. The reporting party stated the woman threatened them with the knife. The woman left the scene but was located and arrested nearby. She was booked into SCORE Jail.

Robber with knife: At about 6:30 p.m. near the 1900 block of South 320th Street, a suspect robbed a business with a knife. The suspect was located and arrested for first-degree robbery.

June 4

There were at least 7 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day.

Head-on collision: At about 3:58 a.m. near the 30400 block of Pacific Highway South, officers responded to a two-vehicle collision. One driver had driven against the flow of traffic, causing a head-on collision. After the investigation, officers arrested one driver for DUI. He was taken to the station, processed and released.

Accidental shooting: At about 11:15 a.m. near the 32400 block of 12th Avenue SW, offices responded to a non-injury accidental shooting.

June 5

There were at least 5 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day.

DUI driver: At about 2:25 a.m. near the 34200 block of 1st Way South, a vehicle was found off of the road after colliding with a school zone sign. The driver was arrested for DUI and booked into jail in Kent.

Bullet strikes house: At about 11:47 a.m. near the 31000 block of 39th Ave SW, police responded to a household that was struck by a stray bullet. The bullet was found in the wall of the home.

June 6

There were at least 2 reports of vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft on this day.

Armed robbery: At about 2:42 p.m. near the 28800 block of Military Road South, officers were flagged down for an armed robbery that just occurred. The suspect was located and arrested.
