There were four vehicle thefts, and five vehicles were recovered on this day.
Women found in stolen vehicle: At about midnight on Military Rd. S. and S. 316th St., there was a report of a disabled vehicle in the roadway. An officer ran the plate and found that the vehicle was reported stolen. There was a single female occupant inside the vehicle, and subsequently, officers performed a high-risk stop. The single female was detained without incident, and the vehicle was cleared. The female was found to have two warrants out for her arrest for theft of a motor vehicle. The female was uncooperative with police and would not speak to them.
Spits on employee: At about 8:25 a.m. in the 34000 block of Pacific Hwy. S., officers responded to a report of an assault. The manager of the location said that she was spit on by a transient woman who was told to leave. Investigation revealed probable cause for assault in the fourth degree.

Candy machine theft: At about 10:15 a.m. in the 2300 block of SW 336th St., there was a report that two males of an unknown race drove up in front of the store in a black pickup truck, entered the store, and then dragged a $500 candy machine into the truck.
Man donkey kicks door: At about 11:20 a.m. in the 100 block of S. 361st St., a victim reported that an unknown suspect approached his front door, turned away from the door, and then kicked the door while facing backward, doing what is commonly referred to as a donkey kick, and then ran away giggling. The man did not attempt to make further entry into the home. The person was described as a male in his 20s, wearing a black shirt, grey sweatpants and a Halloween mask.

Car door: At about 3:35 p.m. in the 5000 block of SW 317th Lane, an officer took a report stating that while the reporting party was sitting in his vehicle, a stranger opened his rear passenger door. The reporting party said that his vehicle’s doors were unlocked, but after asking the stranger multiple times to close his car door, the stranger would not. The stranger finally closed the door after the reporting party stated that he would call 911.

Assault with a firearm: At about 1:15 a.m. in the 2400 block of S. Star Lake Rd., police responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment complex. Upon arrival, a victim was located. He was not injured, but had been shot at multiple times by a masked individual who fled in a vehicle. At this time, no suspects have been identified.
Gun stolen from a vehicle: At about 7:30 a.m. in the 1900 block of SW 345th Pl., the reporting party said that his vehicle was left unlocked and some property was stolen from his vehicle. The victim said the items stolen were a set of keys and a fully loaded 12-round 9mm pistol. The victim said video footage shows two to three suspects running away from the scene of the crime.

Infant inhales vaping device: At about 12:30 p.m. in the 32000 block of 20th Lane SW, there was a verbal dispute with some family members, which officers responded to. While responding, officers witnessed an 8-month-old infant inhale a vaping device. South King Fire arrived on scene for evaluation, and the infant was then taken to the hospital.
Two firearms stolen: At about 12:30 p.m. in the 100 block of S. 337th Lane, there was a report that two firearms were stolen from inside a vehicle. No suspect information.

There was one vehicle theft, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.
Juveniles involved in robbery: At about 9:20 p.m. in the 1900 block of S. Commons, officers responded to a physical assault in progress. Probable cause for robbery was established. Suspects were arrested and booked into King County juvenile detention facility.
