Husband violates protection order | Federal Way crime blotter

Following is a sample from the Federal Way police log:

• Order violation: At 9:13 p.m. Dec. 8 in the 95900 block of 18th Ave. S.W., police were called to respond to the violation of a protection order. The victim stated her husband, whom she had an order against, had been in her home earlier. He was spotted at the scene and ran from police.

• Drug possession: At 12:22 a.m. Dec. 8 at 31000 Pacific Highway S., police conducted a traffic stop. They found 1.736 grams of methamphetamine and 1.11 grams of marijuana on the vehicle’s occupant, who was arrested.

• Stolen tools: At 7:28 a.m. Dec. 8 in the 1600 block of South 348th Street, police received a report of $1,400 worth of tools stolen from a truck. A generator was among the items taken.

• Deceased person: At 1:20 p.m. Dec. 8 in the 1800 block of South 311th Place, police responded to a call about a possibly deceased person. Friends of the deceased told police the subject had a heart condition and refused to go to the hospital to receive medical care.

• Public disturbance: At 7:14 p.m. Dec. 8 at 2132 S. 320th St., police responded to a restaurant, where they contacted a suspect and escorted him outside. The suspect refused to comply with verbal orders and was handcuffed. Records showed he had multiple Seattle warrants.

• Swiped gadget: At 7:41 a.m. Dec. 6 at 32000 Gateway Center Plaza, it was reported that an unknown suspect broke into a victim’s vehicle and stole a GPS system.

• Stolen vehicle: At 7:21 a.m. Dec. 7 in the 1000 block of South 312th Street, a victim reported his or her 1993 Acura stolen.

• Favor gone bad: At 8:26 a.m. Dec. 7 in the 32000 block of 11th Place South, a victim reported that he or she lent a vehicle to a known person on Dec. 1 so that individual could run errands. The subject did not return the vehicle and refused to answer calls or texts.
